Mosi-oa-tunya

One of Zimbabwe's most famous natural attractions is Victoria Falls, or as it was known pre-Livingstone, Mosi-oa-tunya, "The Smoke that Thunders."

Truly beautiful pictures. Makes me want to visit and see these scenes for myself.

Thanks Beaman. You should visit. I love the Zimbabwe side, but the conditions there aren't great for visiting just now. However, the Zambia side is also beautiful and offers lots of opportunities (most of which I haven't experienced). Check out http://texasinafrica.blogspot.com/2007/08/beautiful-vic-falls.html and http://texasinafrica.blogspot.com/2007/08/some-vic-falls-pictures.html for some recent pictures from the Zambia side by Texas in Africa
